It doesn't take much effort at all to move it from being in gear to out of gear, or out of gear to in gear (all without pressing the clutch). Don't try it when the car is on though
. If memory serves me right, the car was in either second or fourth gear. She couldn't have knocked it out of gear real easy if it were in first or third because her butt is what knocked it out.
