I guess you could say I'm right in the middle of those prime earning years at 38. This is the time to stay focused and work,work,work right?? Wife (stay at home mom, which i insist) two kids, nice home in great neighborhood with two min walk to beach. two college plans AND retirement to save for. This is all do able with current income but in doing so man I miss out on everything!! Some times I find myself daydreaming about scaling down to a little house on the prairie. Do any of your professions keep you away from the family? I need someone to tell me it's all worth it!
