While I understand your concern, bear in mind that our great Nation is at war. During such situations, 'rules of engagement' overshadow the 'rules of the land.'
This too shall pass: as this conflict is resolved, a return to normalcy will occur. It may take time, it may never be like before Sept. 11th, but things will change back to the way they were.
Do not be too quick to criticize our nation's actions during this crisis time. Some of our freedoms seem to be not as apparent today. While I value my freedom, I also understand that such measures must be taken by our government to help guarantee our long term freedom. If the government needs to impose some restrictions on our freedom, so be it: currently, I think what they are doing will not shake my belief in them: they would need to remove much more of my freedoms for that to happen.
