Hi Bell, I believe you may have missed a critical ingrediant of the hurricane survival kit, it has been my experience here, on the Gulf Coast, that at least one half gallon of Jim Beam is absolutely critical to have at hand, as its pain killing properties, as well as its water-purification qualities seem to aid in a difficult situation.
