[Chilling in VT]

As a 1961 Series 2 station wagon owner, I can say I love old Rovers. They have an honestness about them like the 911. A couple of years ago, my wife and I looked at one of the Series 2 Disco's. We were actually talked out of buying one by the dealership. The salesman said never to own one that does not have a warranty. I read a news release in the Rovers North newspaper that said that the factory in Sloihull is on "notice" for the next 60 days. They have been told that they must improve the quality and initial reliablilty of their product or risk having the factory shut down and production moved to some other Ford facility. Be careful.
