My car is a 1974 & under the passenger seat there are "2" relays. One is for the door ajar buzzer & the other is for the starter lockout if the seat belts are not fastened.
I recently parted out a 1970 car & it had a relay under the passenger seat but there was only one (I'm assuming it was for the door ajar buzzer).
The factory issued a bulleton for de-activating the starter lockout (I'm assuming this was issued after many problems). To de-activate, two of the wires have to be spliced together - I'm not sure exactly which two but someone on this board will know.
