Political Revelation from Liberal Hollywood...

It's come down to this: an ultra-liberal gay woman who is in the industry whom I know, trying to devise a clear-headed reason to vote for Bush. I think she has decided that it is better to go with "the devil we know."

And this: a gay, ultra-liberal man in the industry who has also decided much the same thing, based on "He got us into Iraq, so he must be more qualified to see us through it, even if it involves Syria, Iran and N. Korea."

Why is this? Because of Kerry's ineptness? His inability to stand firm on issue? Or could it be these individuals do not want to waste their votes?

Regardless, to me, speaks volumes of Kerry's campaign. We heard all summer that Republicans were voting for Kerry, well now, because of his inability to convey a clear message, Kerry's people are now going to the other side. Possibly these two people are just blowing smoke at me. Or just being emotional. My thought is they will vote for Kerry, but not with confidence that he at all knows the issues or knows himself.

Whatever the case, I think the lines are becoming less blurry. One thing is apparent: nuances aren't what seems to decide presidencies, but on the contrary, hard issues.

Your thoughts?
