Where to price and/or buy aftermarket warranty?
I am looking at two 2002 BMW 530s, one private sale, the other a dealer car. Both have 2 years left on factory warranty but the latter is a CPO (certified pre-owned) that has an extra 2 year/100K mile warranty. The former (private sale) vehicle is going to be about $2-4K cheaper. Otherwise the cars are closely comparable, except that the dealer one has the sport package.
So here's my question: what would an aftermarket 2 year warranty (comparable to the CPO warranty) cost and where would I look for one. Are they worth the cost?
