new Carrera print ad (NO pic)
Saw the new Carrera S ad (inside front cover of new European Car, w/ red Carrera on the cover) and I thought it had the funniest tag line:
"We didn't water down performance just b/c you don't have the autobahn"
Oh yeah??!!! You didn't???? Gee, where should I begin?? No 959 (yeah yeah, show-n-display, too little too late AND I can do 3K miles in a month), no 964RS, no 993RS, no GT2, no GT1, last but not least, no GT3RS.... and to use the phrase "water down" is just too much... did they mean it? did something get lost in the translation? did the company even hire Porsche enthusiasts to think of the ad?
