What kind of things do you like to do? Arizona has it all (no ocean, but then SD,OC and rocky point are close). You wont be too far from a Top Notch mexican restaraunt- "Los Dos Molinos" on 7th and baseline (roughly). Secret- The resaraunt is the Hollywood cowboy star "Tom Mix" home converted to a restaurant. They will admit that, but fail to tell you it was also owned for a time by Btimer's Mortuary as overflow storage. Nonetheless, it is one of the top 10 all time SOnoran restaurants in the SW. Ditto on Tucsons Desert Sonoron Museum, although I would also try to see the caverns further south (plan ahead is a must). If you like western stuff, go to Bisbee, see a reenactmn of the OK corral shoot out, then make sure you go over to the St Elmo bar, another treasure of Arizona. I could go on, but only if you provide an idea of what your interests are.
