Yeah...sort of like Arnold, only functional. Some time ago, some promoters out of Portland thought they had a scam to fleece the locals of Sweet Home, where Lonnie lives. An armwrestling tourney. The promoters brought the Oregon arm wrestling champs from various weight classes to Sweet Home. Most of the "champs" from the Portland area. The plan was that the Portland folks would leave with all the prize money, being state champs soon to go to Petaluma for the world championships. Far as I know that was the last time Lonnie arm wrestled, because he snapped a bone in his older brother's arm as they duked it out in the "middleweight" semi finals. The Portland "champs"? They lost every weight class. The Sweet Home folks were kind of saddened that they didn't come back the next year...
