The bottom line behind all of these declining quality of life issues, (including the pollution that makes legislatures pass stupid laws), is out of control population growth, and just plain growth period.
You cannot stick your head in the sand and believe that CA., (or the world), can continue to import and make more people, then make all of these people big consumers, build endless suburban crackerbox house colonies w/ new freeways to reach them, more cars, (sorry, Chevy Tahoes), to transport all of these new suburbanites, (one at a time), Semi trucks to stock the Wallmarts everyday w/ cheap ass goods from slave shops in Bangladesh, etc., etc,........, with ancient 20th century technology in place.
There are major human stupidity problems happening right now in the world, and guess what? A Porsche 911 might be as obsolete as a friggin' 1903 Oldsmobile in the next few years. I'll miss them as much as anyone, but the writing is on the wall. And if you live in some last, sparcely populated region of the U.S. and are reading this, just ignore and go back to your regularly scheduled program. Move along, nothing to see...........
