I have 57’ 356 engine P*68146* fairly complete but does NOT turn over, judging from rust and dust it been separated from car for at least 10 years. Also 57’ body JUNK do to rust . Body came from East Coast, I had never seen rust like this. Came with no title or bill of sale vin numbers had been stripped off as well. However some of the parts that didn’t rust may with complete rebuilding be salvageable such as the transaxel, brake drums, front end?? Oddly enough speedometer was still in car and some glass - rear window. But in reality it is just junk and goes with the engine for free. I want to sell engine and body for whatever it’s worth. I’m guessing $800 to $1200 or best offer. Will have to be picked up by buyer . It’s not worth shipping and particularly in this case one should see what they are paying for before buying.
Car is in the Santa Ynez Valley, Southern California. Engine not from same body. I had planned to mate them until I saw body’s condition, there’s NO way.
