The 924 switch will work, but if you're willing to take some time and effort, you can modify the existing switch asmy. If you subscribe to Porsche Panorama (PCA), then the April 78 issue has the details (it also has my car in "Personal Prosches" which is why I remember the issue :-).
Anyway, you pull the steering wheel, unplug the connectors at the bottom of the column switches (2), loosen 4 screws, and carefully remove the whole switch asmy. The washer switch is on the left and has 2 hoses going into it. Two screws retain the pressure switch. Once out, the switch comes off. Basically what you do is to cut off the original pressure switch, leaving the mounting ears and metal mount. You them drill the center hole till you can fit a microswitch into it. You will probably have to play with setbacks of the switch till the lever consistantly operates it, but it does work...I just did one 2 wks ago.
