there is a difference from routine NYC white collar and Wall St white collar.

The routine white collar is or is influenced by the serious anti-war section of the Dem party. College educated, career oriented, and tough mothers who will start fuming when they find out you don't believe what they believe. They have the discipline and brains to detail every Bush screw up. If you discuss why Bush's yes/no back and forth situations don't get the press that Kerry gets they will get confused and can't reply. They missed the point that Clinton was someone to believe in and Kerry is not. Bush's connection to the average Joe and his relentless focus as Commander and Chief has made that issue a non-issue.

As for Wall St white collar. They will support anyone who balances the congress into a position of "nothing gets accomplished". The stronger one party is the more power it projects thru laws and regulation based on getting reelected. The latest Wall St problem is the bs attempting to over regulate the mutual fund industry. Even Greenspan spoke of letting the mutual fund industry alone because it's efficent and regulated enough. If anything enforce present regulations more efficently. Wall St likes it when nobody is in charge. Efficent markets clean there own houses.
