Like many, you've missed the point of the Cayenne entirely. Why give up the ability to tow AND have world-class handling, acceleration and braking (did you know the Cayenne can brake within a few feet of a 996?). Porsche engineers have brilliantly combined all these features with little - if any - compromise. I've owned many full-size trucks for towing - to be blunt, they handle, brake and accelerate dangerously, just like many conventional SUV's.
I believe in defensive driving for safety. The better a car brakes, handles and accelerates, the safer it is in the hands of an alert driver. The Pepper is MUCH safer than all the little "eco-friendly" *****boxes puttering around ...... of course, I've got more income than style, so what do I know?
