Update.

I checked it out today and was rather surprised with it mechanically.

Very smooth and quick on acceleration.
Head has been redone recently (bright and shiney from the machine shop)
No overheating issues at all.
Idle is fine.

Oddly ...and probably thankfully...the engine bay looks nearly untouched...whoever monkeyed with the interior/electricals didn't touch the engine bay to clean it or work on it....only thing I could tell was done is a throttle response cam...

...The acceleration felt really good though...I wonder if it was also chipped.

I would probably go $1000 based on the above...maybe....maybe.
