I think society as a whole is headed that way. Take anything...network TV, Radio, Movies, whatever and compare it with the same 10 or 20 years ago. Big difference. But the changes have come so slowly and steadily they are almost invisible. One degree at a time.
I use profanity as well, particularly on inantimate objects like tie rod ends.....
