Can we consider creating a special political section of the off-topic forum?

I think the name calling and general political BS is getting out of hand and it's harshing my buzz and stealing all the threads. I would bet other readers agree.

I'm hoping things will slow down a bit after the election, but I'm much happier with threads about bear attacks, zombie invasions and the like.

Thoughts?
