Voter turnout in the US has always been abysmal compared with other first-world nations. I doubt that if it got even worse that would give the politicians any incentive to get better. You'd reach the point where they would be the only ones voting. Come to think of it that actually might help. No more shampaigning would be required, the President, VP & opposition may actually get some
work done
