mr.bch, take a look at an early to mid 90, I think, Isuzu impulse, they operate a single motor setup like the factory slantnose. the one motor in center with the thru bar that goes to each side to open each light. I have done extensive research on this topic also. I also thought about going to a single motor type setup, but mine work great, and I have bought every spare motor I found just to make sure, i will always have a motor if I need replacements. The last set I found cost $5.00 for the 2 motors, with relays and everything else. There are other than mazda motors that will work, just some very minor mods to be made. The way my were made they do not have any wobble or bounce when they are up or down, very solid.
