Given your experience, I'd expect you to have more respect for the marque.
BMWs are FAR from being POS's. I've owned mine for many trouble-free years. Small things have broken, sure, but nothing catastrophic, and that's with an assload of track use.
I really think your characterization of the E36 M3 as a POS is
completely and totally off-base.
