Well, for me, resale is irrelevant. This M3 is going to be my daily driver commuter vehicle so the 911 can continue it's evolution to track-only status. Maybe now I'll get
2nd dates, not having to strap the poor girls into the 5 point harnesses.
When the time comes that the M3 no longer suffices as a daily driver, I'll turn it into a track car as well; if I don't, I'm sure I'll be able to find somoene else who wants an OBD-I M3 to track.
