I think you should read the book and decide for yourself. But the comission reports it very differently than that website does. Plus since the website quotes Dan Rather you may want to double check the facts. LOL

Seriously it is a sobering and powerfull read seems to just lay out the events as they happend and were backed up by etiher recording and when only substatiated by testimony it states that. So it allows you to decide.

As far as the comment about it being a drill, that was in the book. I think anyone who has just been given the authority to shoot down a comercial air liner had better ask if it is a drill. Having spent time in the Navy I can tell you that practicing drills over and over again is common. Actully shooting a plane out of the sky is not.
