Personally speaking, I would get the 911 to where you want it to be before buying any other cars. I got totally stressed having 5 "projects" around. It started similar to your story. The first one's pretty good but needs some help. I put that on hold to buy the next one which was "very restorable". The next three "just happened". The first one never got finished. I blew an o-ring and sold them all to have the one clean 911 that needs nothing. It's very nice to just drive a car your happy with and not think about paint, bearings, rubber, seats, synchros.......you get the point.
