A 1.8 motor would have L-jetronic FI on it. A 1.7 or 2.0 motor should have D-jetronic FI on it. The D-jet uses a silver hand-grenade like thing with one wire bundle (four wires) and one vacuum hose hooked to it to measure engine load. The L-jet uses a swinging-flap air meter in between the air filter and the rubber pipe to the throttle body.
You'll need at least some of the relays for the D-jet system. I don't think you need any of them for the L-jet system, though one of them does control the heater blower regardless of the fuel system used in the car.
