Ummm, no. Everybody was not anti-war - that's a myth propagated by the media to this day. I grew up in the 70's. I still remember us laughing at classmates running around with army jackets and long hair - it was a fad. Just like getting a tattoo or piercing is today. There was no deep belief from these people other than they were scared *****less of getting drafted. And I wasn't involved or interested in politics back then - just wanted to make sure my skiis were tuned and I had a 6-pack of beer buried in the snow for apres-ski ..... ah, the good ol' days!
