Honestly, I hate most sports stars cause they don't deserve the admiration many give them. Shilling is the man. I started watching this because of him. To see a guy go out there and get his tendons sutured to play the game is rawness. Only other guy I can remember who did something this cool was Ronnie Lott of the 49ers. Back in the day, he had his finger cut off because it kept on breaking and interfering with his game.
THATS sports. Wow.
P.S. I was in NY over the weekend. They are all saying what animals we are in Boston. Where were they in game 6 when the game had to be stopped twice because of fans throwing bottles and balls at players when the refs made GOOD calls against them.
That being said, hopefully the celebrations when the sox win the series will be peaceful and students here will have learned by then that they are not invincible.'
