The rubber-centered clutches are very underrated and get a bad rap. If you're tracking the car and/or riding your clutch like a ricer kid, that's one thing. But if you're just doing normal driving I'd recommend the rubber centered one over springed.

Why? Well, I've had both, and the springed-centered clutch was actually more noisier with more "chatter". This was annoying. I know a former Head Technician at a well-known local dealership that swears by the same thing. I've put about 70,000 miles on mine with no end in sight.

Clutches are like anything else; it you treat it right it will last a LONG time.
