Similarities documented by partisans and convincing no one. This is a failed argument. Nobody is buying it except the faithful. Conversely, there were those on the right that actually thought Clinton had all those people killed in Arkansas.
As far as redneck racists supporting the right, the south used to be the strength of the Democratic party. Now the south is a strength for the GOP.
In reality, the democratic base is uneducated and poor, with a few full-of-themselves at the top, taking money from hard working people and tossing their base just enough to keep them voting their way - and poor, and uneducated.
The GOP is by and large middle class, hard working and is looking to elevate everyone, not just get people to minimum wage and keep them there.
