Question Coldblass since this car wont pass California Smog does the seller need to get a smog certiicate for me? I told him when I go up to Los Angels on Sunday and check it out, I will buying the car if its good , but since he took a loan out on the car he can not give me the pink slip. This is his solution, " Pink slip: I am having some trouble with this--if you were here on a Monday we could just complete the transaction at the bank, but I understand that that is not really going to work for you.
