FYI: Pittsfield Township outside of Ann Arbor Michigan has a big Taho/Suburban that they continuously fill with road signs. They actually pay someone to drive around and pick off signs in the setback. They took one of my architects signs in front of a building project under construction. When the builder put an "open house" sign near the first unit's front door, they took that without notice too. That was on a weekend!
If it's not your property, then you have no right to post a political sign (or otherwise) there. Please keep that in mind.
