If your fuel gauge doesn't work

It's really easy to fix. All I did was pulled up the sound deadener in the rear of my car and the sensor is there under a rubber door. Unhook your car battery and remove the sensor. the sensor is inside a tube. To remover the sensor there is a nut on the bottom and then a round plastic disc that screws off. Inside there is a float that slides up and down telling you your fuel level. My float was stuck in the bottom position so i just broke it free and cleaned up the rod it slides on. I cleaned up everything, put it together and reinstalled it and now it works like new.
