Well, if you follow professional football, you've know doubt heard the football/political pundits comment on the influence the Washington Redskins have on election year outcomes when an incumbent is running.
It breaks down to this: if the Redskins win their last regular season game before U.S. elections are held, the incumbent - in this case Bush - wins.
If they lose, the challenger - Kerry in this case - wins.
The Packers played the Redskins in DC. The Packers have pretty much sewn it up, 26-14. In short, they'll win.
