Here is the GT racing one with a custom light setup. If the light covers were a little more durable it would be perfect.
I love the idea of getting rid of the mechanism.
I would venture the headlight mechanism should be about 30lbs similar to the Rx7 you weighed Mac.... I have one set sitting on my bench I may weigh just to be sure.
He ended up using some aftermarket foglights as lights.....
