Early in his Senate career, Kerry investigated the drugs-for-arms connection with Reagan's point man and your buddy, Oliver North, during the Iran-Contra investigations, but the drug issue was too hot an issue to confront Reagan's USA back in the 80's. Thus, not one word of the drug connection during the hearings.
I'd say he's a pretty hard worker even for a civil servant.
