Guys,
Can anyone give me a quick walk thru on doing an oil change for the 2004 Mini Cooper S.
We are in Switzerland right now, and the Zurich dealers and shops want $250 to do a simple oil change. What am I missing here?
My questions:
1)Where generally is the filter located?
2)What size wrenches do I need? Anything special?
1)How many quarts of oil does it take?
2)How do I reset the computer once I do the change?
By the way, I already bought a replacement oil filter, but it is just the ribbed paper filter - so I am assuming that I have to unscrew a canister and switch out the paper rather then screw in a complete filter? I had an E type jaguar that had the same oil filter set-up. Hopefully this is alot easier.
