Poll: last-minute surprise(s) -- what will it/they be?
The combination of the Internet with spin-based "news" outlets makes it possible to dump scurrilous rumors later today -- to circulate like wildfire before tomorrow morning.
A great example is the California Governor campaign where the sexual harassment charges of 17 women were discredited when the main (in terms of details) accuser was revealed as a *multiple felon* on the local right-wing radio show the day before the election. It was over 36 hours before the "revelation" was shown to be false -- that the accuser had no criminal record whatsoever. But the damage was done.
So the possibility exists -- on both sides -- to reveal disturbing information (on either side). Assuming it will happen -- after all, millions of people feel strongly about this election -- what form will the attack take?
