Hey- For a while my daily driver was a '69 Corvette. I even framed houses using that car for a little while. A little short on tool storage, but I did it!
I'm impressed with the underside of the C-6. Flat as Kansas. Obviously some time in the wind tunnel was spent looking at the dirty side. While no Chevy has the build quality of a Porsche, it is the same company that screwed together my pick-up. I sold my last truck to a friend with well over 200,000 miles, and it is still running strong. I hope my current truck lasts as long. I wouldn't be to worried about Corvette parts falling off by the side of the road. We all spend time maintaining our Porsches, don't we?
