I'd have tried to be as gracious as you are about the situation if the roles had been reversed, but I don't know if I'd have pulled it off. In fact, I
know I'd still have thrown in a gloat about Daschle. [EDIT -- see, I just did
I can't help myself!]
I, however, am hoping that now that W's been re-elected, our information providers can tone down the maligning. They did everything they could and lost, so I hope that they realize that more than half of the population of the country (by votes, anyway) don't buy their crap.
