That valve-stem group buy was just begging for someone to poke fun at it. That, and the guy over on Renn that just painted his n/a brake calipers yellow, along with the dust-sheilds.
I see nothing wrong with dropping a V8 into a 944. It's not for me, but it is their car and their choice. I saw a nicely done one a few weeks back at a Porsche show, it looked factory almost.
I would be curious to drive one and see what the brakes feel like with the booster deleted. Although, there is no way that it can be any worse than the 65 mustang I used to have.
