Just put Stabil in the gas, and make sure you run it, so it gets to the carbs. It you can't run it long, then start it up with the hose attachment device on the lower end water intake, and spray fogging spray into the carbs. Then, make sure you drain the oil out of the lower end, and re-install the drain/fill plugs. No need for antifreeze. Aside from removing the battery, and keeping it charged...that's it!! Oh yeah, don't forget to refill the lower end with gear oil next year before running it!! All of this is assuming your outboard is a two-stroke.
By following the above, I have never had problems with the numerous outboards my family has owned.
