Aren't the cigarette lighter and glove box light on the same circuit as the clock and dome light? When I swapped out "Porsche" sized cigarette lighter socket for a standard one, I accidentally shorted the cigarrete lighter and the clock, dome light, and glove box light did not work until I replaced the fuse.
