It just seems to me that the GOP is in a bit of a funk right now and I wonder how average Right-ies feel about it.
From what I've been seeing lately, a lot of extreme Wingers think they have a friend in the WhiteHouse (ie Bob Jones):

I can understand how you might just play them off as a fringe influence, a byproduct of the ideology (Us lefties have the commies and the anarchists to deal with

). Is this the case for you? Do you consider them to be on the fringe?
It seems to me that the extremists have more control of the GOP than the party is willing to admit. I could be wrong. If abortion is outlawed and media is censored and the extremists begin to really take over, when will the average porn-loving Righty say enough is enough? Or maybe, do you believe that the extremist Christians don't, and won't, have that kind of power?
