Moral compass.... OK.. if we want to discuss the morality of christianty, one only needs to look at how many people have been killed in it's name.
Don't even think of going there. Christians are not alone in this respect by a long shot.
I have a real problem with people who have so much faith in their beliefs as to deny any possibility that it may not be true or correct.
Again, this is common to all forms of religion. Nothing special about Christianity here.
I also have a real problem when people try to pass laws or amend the Constitution based on narrow minded interpretations of ideological documents that were changed and altered countless times to keep people in check.
People seem to have forgotten that our country was founded by people who believed in God. The documents that were written by our forefathers were based on this belief. Agreed, many since have added laws and amendments that do nothing more than blur the lines between what's right and what's wrong. Personally, I believe the so-called "lawmakers" of our country have done us a great disservice by over-legislating our society. This is something that has degraded our "moral compass". We are becoming more reliant upon what is law, rather than what is common sense.
Oh, and another thing, God drives a Porsche....
Agreed!
