ok i've decided now that i have a house that my options opened up as far as a cable provider goes.
right now i have time-warner digital cable with a DVR and a cable modem for internet, the internet is stupid fast so my thought is to keep the cable modem and go with a satalite dish for television.
not worried about high-def, but am running s-video to my 32inch sharp tube tv.
i AM concerned about the digital audio with the movie channels as i have a nice surround setup.
channels i need to have.......
speed
discovery wings/science/etc.
history channel
tlc
fuel (extreme sports stuff)
and so on........
who uses what and what are your likes/dislikes?
how reliable is your DVR?
how easy is it to navigate?
how far in advance can you program your DVR? (i can go 1 week right now)
