I am trying to clear out a lot of stuff my mom has around her house. Much of this was my dad's collection of homemade taped-from-cable videos. I figured since there was so much of it I could post it on craigslist and get someone to take a bunch of it.

Some guy calls me up and gets directions and then pitches his website "commondreams.org" and asked me if I had heard of it. Sounded vauguely familiar.

Why can't people conduct a freaking transaction without trying to sell me something else? Dammit.
