Here are the numbers...

HC at Idle (851) is 205 CO is 0.48 Fail
HC at 2500RPM (2474) is 102 CO is at 0.53 Pass

I'm pretty sure the Cat is the contributing factor. It has a slight burp or lope at idle but she runs strong. I used to drove it in 110 degree weather in Dallas without ever worrying about overheating... Unless I was caught in rush hour.

I'm going to put the chip back in (vertex). The low end tourque is non-existant without it. Guy's in SLO should get it fixed pretty quickly. I'm just not looking forward to paying for a new CAT. Isn't that around $400?

One final thought... I was told my carrera was a Gray market model. It has all the smog equipment but if it is really a gray market porsche would this explain why it so hard to smog?

And yes I am aware that I need it smogged in order to sell it.
