That car should pas easy. I agree with most of these posts, check the 02, Cat and make sure the mixture is within range. My 3.6 passes with ease, but I have a friend who had a bad 02 and it just would not pass. I would never purchse a vehicle in CA without having it smogged first. I think it is up to the seller to provide proof that it will pass. I just purchased a BMW wagon and I made the guy take it in to have it tested on his dime.
