Yes that is the more scientific method... its very hard to gather such data though! Wouldnt you agree? For the most part longitudinal studies of this kind over years may be so subjective as one influence affecting so many may not have the same inpact, but the outcome be the same, too much interaction effect. Hence why I think a snap shot of the contemporary issues was presented. Its an interesting read though, so many issues seem trivial though.
